POLICY REGARDING EMPLOYEE CONFIDENTIALITY IN COMPLETING EMPLOYEE SURVEYS
We understand and appreciate employees' legitimate concerns for confidentiality when sharing perceptions about the organization in which they are employed. It is essential that no one in the organization have access to an individual employee's personal survey responses or written comments. We are committed to the highest standards of professional ethics in that regard.
The main factor to keep in mind is this: When you submit your completed form, all ratings and comments are forwarded via the Internet directly and exclusively to The E. J. Flynn Company in Louisville. All data is transmitted directly to our database. No one in any other company or organization, including yours, ever has access to that database.
We guarantee employee privacy and confidentiality in completing our surveys.
The E. J. Flynn Company recognizes that the integrity and validity of the survey process requires that individual answers remain totally and completely confidential.
Individual responses will never be reported to the employer organization or to anyone within the organization.
Individual responses are kept in a database under the sole and total control of The E. J. Flynn Company. No one other than representatives or authorized agents of The E. J. Flynn Company are ever allowed access to that database.
No client organization or representatives or agents of client organizations are ever allowed access to the survey database of The E. J. Flynn Company.
In surveys where identifying data are collected (e.g., Department, Location, Tenure, Gender, etc.), results are never reported in any way that could jeopardize individual employee anonymity.
In "paper and pencil" surveys where employees write comments by hand, those comments are always transcribed verbatim before being submitted in a report. No one at the company ever sees the actual, handwritten comments.
When a User ID and/or Password is used in the conduct of an Internet-based questionnaire, those identifiers are never "linked" to survey results reported to the employer.
The E. J. Flynn Company will never intentionally jeopardize an individual employee's privacy and confidentiality in completing a survey.
The E. J. Flynn Company maintains the following professional memberships: Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology; Society for Human Resource Management; American Psychological Association.
